Overcome sin // Bible Words Explained (Bible animation)

In the Bible, it’s written in many different ways that we are to overcome sin. But what does that mean, and how can WE overcome sin in the flesh?

In this dramatic episode from the series Bible Words Explained series you can see an animated depiction of the most epic battle of all: the battle against sin, and how by using the mighty weapons we are given, we actually can overcome sin! We can overcome sin and temptation every day, and every day come closer to being finished with sin in our flesh!

“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3:21.

Very nice! But one thing I would have liked to see included is the explanation about how the sword of the Spirit is the word of God, and the word is sharper than any two edged sword, and to aquire that is by being a diligent student of the word of God… at least that’s how I understand it, still learning so forgive me if I’m wrong. All glory to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior! Amen.

I found out about Bcc today, first time for many years Ive heard the gospel being preached so truly and also be talking about repentence. Its exactly what we christians needs to hear. God has spoken to me about lust, until i really Said no more of this, it defeated me for so many years. But in gods good grace and with your heart taking a stand against sin, we shall overcome it! My entire family and I grew up in the Church, but we were All complete Hypocrites, but we all thought we were going to go to heaven because we were either baptized, said a prayer, or volunteered for as many things as possible. Since age 6 I was a victim of sex trafficking. For 44 years I struggled with 4 multiple personality disorders. I tried therapy, counseling, medication, 12-step groups, prayer partners, etc. but nothing ever worked. Every CHURCH I went to was doing far more Damage than good, because No Pastor could ever explain to me why Jesus told That Adulterous Women (like me): GO AND SIN "NO" MORE.  They'd just say that we will all struggle with sin until the day we die. This made it pointless to think my life would ever be normal again, so I was about to commit suicide 5.5 years ago.
~I suddenly realized that it Only takes 1 day to LISTEN to the NT Bible. I did a lot of Bible studies, but I had never once read through my Bible before. Every sermon or Bible study always had us jumping all over the Bible to read verses that they were twisting out of context to fit "their" narrative.  Jesus warned us that the Churches would be FILLED with Wolves in sheep's clothing. I realized that Every single sermon that I had ever heard from Church or on the internet, etc was tickling my ears; because they know that most Christians are way too Lazy to actually read the Whole Bible for themselves. Even those who will read the Bible in one year are not able to tell me what they just read 2 months ago, or even 2 weeks ago, because they were just religiously going through the motions; basically being a Hearer of the word but not a Doer.
~So after finally reading the Whole Bible, I was force to Examine everything I had ever believed from the Church. I came across 1 verse, after another, after another that were all scaring the Hell right out of me. The Lukewarm Churches will Never preach anything from the book of 1st John.
~1st John 3:9-10 says: 9. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them, they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10. This is how we KNOW who the children of God are and who the children of the Devil are!! 😬
In 1 Day on 8/10/17 Jesus healed my Mind, Body, Soul & Spirit. The Truth completely Set Me Free from ALL sin, so now I Know that I am Born Again. I can honestly testify that for 5.5 years now, I take Every thought Captive and make it Obedient to Christ, because in 1 Day I was Completely Set Free for from ALL: anger, alcohol, bag language, bitterness, codependency, depression, dressing sensually, drugs, fear, greed, guilt, homosexual thoughts, insecurities, jealousy, loneliness, masturbation/pornography, rejection, self-harm, sexual thoughts, shame, suicidal thoughts/attempts, stress, temptations, unforgiveness, worry...
I found over 200 other N.T. verses that are All giving the same Warning To Never Sin Again, proving who the Sheep and Goats really are. Looking back now, I can see that I was under a Powerful Delusion to believe Satan's lies about OSAS.
~The Road is Narrow and VERY FEW will find it, so my ministry is now simply asking people to please Ask God through Prayer that He would Show you The Truth, as You PUSH PLAY to Let The Truth Save Your Eternal Soul!
