Praying in tongues is a manifestation of His indwelling presence in us and builds our faith and our relationship with Him. Because He desires depth, closeness and intimacy with us.
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, just because you have not experienced the depths of His manifestation in you. Do not judge what you do not understand. Do not be foolish, which is wise in your own eyes. Most importantly, do not laugh, mock or blaspheme against Him. Rather have a curious mindset of the mysteries of the Spirit.
Desire the gifts of the Spirit, desire to know Him more and build fellowship with Him.

To speak in tongues I learned you gotta put your whole heart in the prayer. You know when you break down and cry out to God. Keep praying.

When speaking in tongues happens it's crazy feeling... You literally feel it coming up and you're aware that you're about to do it... It scared me at first. Then i got a laughing spirit upon me where i couldn't stop laughing and my entire body was vibrating. It was incredible

The only ones who criticize speaking with other tongues are the ones who do not have the gift of tongues…. But if your go before God with a pure heart and cry out to him for this gift…. Jesus will baptize you too!

No gift is called different kinds of tongues. This idea is a back door to speak gibberish which no one can interpret. Acts 2 was talking about languages.

When I first became a Christian I prayed everyday for the gift of speaking in tongues. I wanted to talk to God directly with the Devil not being able to understand the words that came out of my mouth. My prayer language came in bits and took 2 and a half years to fully manifest.

Hi Isaiah, I wish you would teach on this. When I first got baptized in the Holy Spitit I spoke in all kinds of languages and it lasted a long time.I lost track of time. I pronounced all the dialects perfectly and I saw people of different nations. I never asked anyone about it since I never heard anyone mention this and I thought they would think I was weirder than they already probably thought I was. 😂 I know I am an intercessor and I have a passion for prayer. Thats the only time I ever spoke in all those foreign languages. My tongues are not always the same.I wonder why exacty this happened though. I have never asked anyone but God. I will be 70 next year. He called me to praise dance when I was 68...😢...I am a prophetic dancer and Holy Ghost taught me.. Im waiting for my next level in excitement and I have no idea what He's up to this time.I'm sure He'll give me the strength. I can't believe I go leaping through the air with a crown on my head at my age. 😂😂😅...some of my family think I'm crazy. Praise the Lord....Let everything that has breath...Praise the Lord..❤❤

If you look in Acts 2. They were speaking in different tongues that was understandable


He who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God: Because this simple statement is so devastating to the idea that tongues is just a human language spoken for human benefit, many of those who believe the miraculous gifts have passed have trouble with this verse. Some even try to claim Paul speaks sarcastically here and that he criticizes the Corinthian Christians for using the gift of tongues to speak to God instead of men.

The next verses : 1 Corinthians 14:3-4 (KJV) 3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men [to] edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue edifieth himself; *but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.*

To point is here is tongue edifieth the church. So it is a language to be understood to whom you speak it.

A lot of people don't know this but when people talk, a part of their brain lights up. Every language on earth it lights up in the same spot. When you speak in tongues, a different area lights up. Isn't that so cool

In 2021 I started to speak in tongues . I asked God why I have a unfamiliar language and He answered me saying because I can't pronounce "R" HE gave me a language without a "R". I felt very special after Hos answer.
