The “Tetra” is the Grammaton Cleric pistol from the movie Equilibrium. It even features the same cross-shaped muzzle flash.

My favorite little takeaway is that these aren't viewmodels, they are actually the worldmodels rendered on colliding armatures on the hands so they function like models in a modern designed FPS and they look absolutely gorgeous in HL1's art style.

Those improvements are... definitely improvements. Can't say if I like them more than the HD models.
As far the animations go, most of them either look the same or are just ripped straight from Counter-Strike 1.6 (which is also a Goldsrc game).
Sounds are mostly the same but they got some extra few sounds so they definitely sound more satisfying.
There's not a whole lot of new weapons and that's maybe a good thing because Half-Life 2: Overcharged had so many weapons that just bloat the game.
So, my final verdict: They're alright, even for a mod based on a 1998 game. The Glock, MP5 and SPAS-12 are pretty good remodels if i'm gonna be honest.

The mod hasn't come out, and it's already looking great
the thing that most look great is design.
Every weapon, map, npc is being redesigned, not in a modern style, in a HALF-LIFE 1 STYLE, which is actually really good, since it actually fits, reminds me of those stylish 80's-90's sci-fi movies!

I can appreciate the amount of Unreal 2 SFX used in this. That game had some pretty good sounds for a super underwhelming game

I gotta say I really like the change of pumping the Spas-12 twice after a double shot instead of once. Not only does it actually make more sense than two shells somehow ejecting from a single pump but also adds a bigger trade-off to using the alt-fire since you have to wait for the animation to finish before you can shoot again.

I hope the game doesn't repeat the mistakes of HL2: Overcharged in terms of overabundance of enemies, weapons, and reused animations

this mod makes the hivehand sound like it farts but also makes the tau cannon actually look like a prototype

So this game is very old, however the latest version is has been 2 years. But the game has 24 year anniversary.

The pistol gunshot sound effects can get some improvements, felt like the gunshot sounds get cancelled when another one comes in.

But it's great though, loved the Tetra one.
