For someone who has only quilted 6 years, you are so talented. you need to put out a book.everyone else has.

You’re scaring the death ☠️ 💀 out of me even though you know what you’re doing. I am just waiting for that rotary cutter to jump the cardboard and slice your hand or fingers. You are BRAVE!! Keep being careful and thanks for the cool tutorial. I have never seen anyone do the Drunkard’s Path before. Love you Tiff!

Tiffany, I admire you; so smart and talented; loving, taking great care of your family, and the most admirable trait ~ not afraid to be comfortable with yourself. Keep it up but be sure to take good care of yourself. Thanks for sharing your talents.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU IRON MAN! I am sorry to be a few days late but I hope you continue for the rest of the week. As we age birthdays become more significant and gratifying and should lots more celebration. This was passed on to me from one aunt who celebrated 102 birthdays and a great lady I had cared for celebrated 100 birthdays with a box of See’s Chocolates! So Scott all the best🤗🙋‍♀️

Happy birthday, Scott! Tiffany, I admire your determination and willingness to try new things. You keep going when I might have curled up and said I didn’t feel good enough to sew.

Got 137 Apple Core pieces cut out before 1976 that are about 6 in size cut by an arthritic Gramma that are all diff. Got a 4 in MSQC template so I’m cutting curves and sewing curves. It’s not as hard as we think. Just be brave. Concave, convex….you can walk into a cave. Happy Birthday Scott

Looking forward to seeing this project 😊 if you clip the inside of the curved seam they will lay flatter. Have a great time with Scotty on his birthday. 🎈🎂🎉

Watching this on catch up happy belated birthday Scott 🎉. Curves don’t bother me anymore as one of the first quilts I made was a double wedding ring in queen size 😂 I believe in starting with an easy one 😂❤

Sometimes it's easier to place the larger piece on top of the "pie" shape to sew them together 👍. Big piece is the concave. Thanks for the video 😊

I put the larger piece on the bottom so I can ease it straight to kinda match the curved piece and I shorten my stitch length to about 1.50. I also sew very slow and pin well after I iron it it looks great.

Sewing curves used to scare me. But I tried it once and it is not so bad. I pin it in the middle and on each side and sew it together. That works for me.

Happy Birthday Scott. Be blessed. I found the 5 inch template on amazon. Just ordered myself one because I have so many charm packs. Great for a small quilt.

Tiffany use a small black light to find the right side of white on white fabric. It’s amazingly effective. Happy Birthday Scott.

For construction points, in the centre of the sew line and 1/4" in on the ends, both ways. Pins hold the other end as you morph the seam under the foot. Both sides of the sew line do need S Allowances, to keep your size.

Larger templates also need 1/4 points. You can make another 2 sets with a wider seam allowance, to fill-in/ match up with your cut-offs. I use a hole maker from a card making kit with template plastic, to scratch cut/seam lines with a ruler and poke construction point holes to fit a mechanical pencil into. Card will wear away, and change the curve, just with a pencil. You can get circle rulers and use them? I stick card on my ruler to line them up for straight cuts. You could buddy ruler the inner curves. Concave caves in, convex sticks out? The piecing after the curve has so many possibilities. So much fun. All the best.

My sister says even the fridge is taller than me, she has tall sons, they lean on her shoulder and say, how's the weather down there mum? Just get some step stools, and have fun with your new family member. Fabric remnants will often be enough fabric for making her clothes, Big win.
