How to properly insert the bobbin on a Brother CS6000i

I just want to say, I was having top looping stitches and could not for the LIFE of me figure out what was wrong. I then watched this video and realized it was not going through the tension spring. Holding the bobbin down when I threaded was so key!!

Im using my friends sewing machine, its 3am, and the thread got tangled so I had to redo the bobbin. This is a life saver. I can continue making my cosplay haha

I thought this machine I found at a second hand store for $6 had serious tension issues - until I watched this video and realized I wasn't getting the bobbin thread under the tension part in the front. Thanks!!

Will this machine use a generic bobbin? Or dies it have to be one that is made fir this specific machine

The bobbin keeps getting jammed up on the bottom and I’m doing it correctly. I am seeing that other people are having issues with this as well- not happy

What if I'm doing that right but it tangles instantly when I try to get started sewing?
