another guy giving the full truth about mechs thanks man I can't tell you how many people have been trying to make these things out to be perfect with like no flaws and even saying we are the problem for complaining it's good to see someone just being honest about all this again thank you so much :D

11:56 Personal backpack shield actually saved my mech once. It eat whole turret shell and mech was fine.
I do reccomend personal shield when You taking out Your mech stratagem.

The striders you can shoot the 'hip' area and kill them pretty quick and the shield devs it's best to shoot above their heads, mech is pretty tall and if you can get shots on their backpack it kills them pretty quick

the mech should have a ejector seat when it has takento much damage. or a sound to notify you that it is low health.

I have a problem with the exo suit. When pulling up the map the rocket and Gatling gun are still active when right clicking to move the map and left clicking to pin with me ending up blowing myself up

A very important thing to consider when using the mechs is that you need to work with your team otherwise you are going to burn through your ammo like its nothing. Lean on your teamates and slack a bit, save your ammo for when you guys actually need it and you start to get overwhelmed. Using this strat you can use your height to call out patrols and run the objectives.

I thin the rocket to the door thing you experienced @10:30 is a bug with all the rocket types. Unless I'm mistaken, the autocannon can destroy them through the vents, but not he door as well.
The factories over all have some weird hitbox issues imo. Though the devs have said they'll be taking a look at them in the future.

The mechs also have a self destruct bug right now. They just randomly blow up for no reason. Called mine in for the first time, took 2 steps and blew up. No enemies around, just exploded. watched the others in my squad have the same thing happen. Just walking to the next objective and boom, dead.

Its not ideal since the mechs chain gun isnt accurate at longer distances, but you can shoot out scout strider legs to disable them, since the chain gun is medium armor piercing. I still agree that you should save its ammo whenever you can though, as teammates can destroy them much more quickly.

Great mech info, especially against the automatons. Considering how fragile the current variant is against explosions, I didn't think it would fare well on that front.

Against Chargers, there's so many who don't believe the charge won't one shot you at full health. Simply makes a plinking sound on my full health mech. I'm sure it did some damage though.

The stationary crush on the other hand can crush other chargers, makes sense it'll crush the mech.

if you destroy a hulks backpack, it will only shoot the floor until it bleeds out, dont need a second rocket
