Ranking Link's Companions in the Zelda Series

Link has had many Companions throughout the Zelda series. In this video we rank them all! Who is your favorite?

The fact that the Twilight Princess manga expanded on Link and Midna's relationship in a deeper romantic way drives it home for me. Made me ship them harder

Midna has always been my favorite. Link and Midna are by far the best duo in the series.

I'd argue Linebeck also counts as a companion for Link even if he isnt always around. Link has need of his ship and Linebeck has need of Link's skills, in a way its kinda refreshing to have more of a jerk companion along the adventure.

And not to mention Linebeck does get his own character development. Throughout majority of the game Linebeck is shown to be a coward who runs and hides at the smallest bit of trouble, yet when the only actual fighter is disarmed and captured by Bellam Linebeck musters up what little courage he has to stab bellam with Link's sword. And during the ending when he finally gets to make 1 wish, he opts to have his ship repaired instead of the riches he desired when the idea of a wish was first proposed.

Sure Linebeck aint beating Midna, but i feel he's a strong enough character in Phantom Hourglass to also be considered a companion

Navi is best just the fact that he/shes a fairy adds more Classic fairytale feeling to the game. I do however think Fi's farewell and midnas lament are the two most lovely music themes in the series.

I heard in manga version midna kissed link making the farewell seen even sadder.

midna and links connection in the manga is my definite version of them. i always saw them together romatically.

Midna is my fav, she helps you out and has a great story but is sad, she leaves and can’t return to link

I really liked navi as a companion in ocarina of time, though my favorite companion in the whole series also has to be Midna. The way she connects with him like no other companion he has had before, becoming his friend and helping him along his journey truly because she cared about him. Midna for me is like no other companion Link has had, one that I hope returns in the future in one way or another. Also, still loving the content ZM! What other vids do you have planned?

I personally really like tatl she had a lot of charachter development def more than navi also she doesn't prevent yu from using the view thingy even though its admittedly less useful in oot

I heard Navi in public a few years ago. I was about to leave a grocery store and I heard "HEY!". It was a notification sound on someone's phone, and proof that someone is a fan of the series.

In my opinion, Epona is the best companion for me. Link and Epona have been together for years. Epona iis a great addition to Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. I absolutely love Epona
