The Quint: Final US Presidential Debate: Clinton & Trump on Syrian Crisis
Показать описание
Clashing over Syria, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said that Aleppo was a "humanitarian nightmare", but suggested that keeping Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in power may be better than replacing him, because Syrian rebels might end up being "worse than Assad".
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton emphasised that she would not allow unvetted immigrants or refugees into the country, but she said she would not "slam the door on women and children" fleeing war zones.
Trump referred to the failure of the ceasefire in Syria, remarking that the United States has been "outplayed" by Russian president Vladimir Putin and Assad.
He then went on to say that nobody can believe "how stupid our leadership is".
