The marketing team from Lidl needs to go to work milking the heck out of this. “If you ain’t getting what you want from life, you can still get discounted yoghurt from Lidl”

“What we do in Lidl, echoes in eternity”.

He said " Lidl ". It is a supermarket chain in the U.K. that originally started in Germany .
." What do you want from LIDL ? " Auto corrected to LIFE

As a fan of cheap tools and gardening implements, there have been several days when my answer to both questions would have been the same.

Thanks for explaining😊. Us non english natives were getting wrong subtitles, and I wouldn't have guessed the name of a supermarket. I guessed it definitely wasn't "little", but I would've wondered for days about the supposed hilariousness of the letter, because I love and respect Thom York so much 😅

Nothing about this is anything less than sublime.

There’s something about his gigantic array of golden bracelets clinking together when he says “wealth” that is quite funny to me.

Videos like this make me think that Thom could be a good actor.

Clearly a regional reference, especially given the confusion in the comment section.

there will be those who do not know what Lidl is.
(among whom i counted myself)
so.
Lidl is a German discount supermarket chain with stores in every country
(and one former country) of the EU.

First I didn't understand it.
But then I realised I misheard him.
Thought he said "little", not "lidl".

Jigsaw falling into place.

What do I want from life?
Oooooh...well, just a frozen pizza, I guess.

"What do you want from little?" Liddle? Someone help me here...

Subtitles need correcting from "little" to "Lidl", particularly for those who are reliant on them, as well as for non UK viewers.

😄That's why I turned the predictive text off on my cell!

Did he say, “little?”

I couldn’t understand that last part.
