Hufflepuffs rise 💛 I’m a four, but 2s are so obviously the most hufflepuff of all the types imo.

The houses are typed by values, not personality (so the house you *want* to be is likely the type that you are). if it were by personality I’d definitely be a ravenclaw lol. But I love being a hufflepuff. I’m guessing 7s are slytherin and 8s are gryffindor.

I'm a type 4 and a Ravenclaw, who knew? I've also never read or seen Harry Potter so... I do know enough about it to survive a round of Jeopardy though :) This was great, Abs! And that Corgi side eye was giving me so much life :P

I think as a 8 I can say for a face that yes our house is both sythern and girifendor! I myself have test multiple times as a griffendor but my siblings and friends/family have said I’m more of a systern. I have always just assumed I’m similar to Harry Potter and have both with in me

I'm a 6w5 and get Ravenclaw when I take house tests. I can't personally see myself in Hufflepuff; I'm not a fan 'toiling' lol. I don't trust 99% of ppl, I'm extremely selective about who i keep in my circle, so the accepting of everyone part is also a no for me.

5w4 INTJ Slytherin here! People constantly assume I'm Ravenclaw, though. I do care about knowledge and I like learning things, but I also believe that knowledge must be used. I think I'm also countertype 5 and have a pretty strong 8 in my tritype, which leads to a lot of the Slytherin-ness I have, once people get to know me.

As far as other people that I know both their Enneagram and Hogwarts House, my 6 friend is totally a Hufflepuff and my 3 friend is very much a Slytherin.

I can see type 8 as Slytherin. I think Narcissa Malfoy is one of the great examples of this, particularly the "I want to protect myself and my people". The examples that come to mind are the unbreakable vow scene with Bellatrix and Snape, as well as the lying in the Forbidden Forest so she could ask if her son was okay.

I think it's interesting that you say that Ravenclaw is both creatively out of the box thinkers and yet they follow the rules (by the book). I would like you to evaluate on this thought, because I enjoy paradoxes a lot :) fun little video, I guessed in advance what your picks would be and it was fun

I think your assumptions about the types and their houses are correct and I can also see your struggle with 8. I'm an 8 and on Pottermore the Sorting Hat always put me into Gryffindor (I see myself more in Hufflepuff though because they're the underdogs and have the nicer common room :D). I'd also say most famous 8 characters like Arya Stark and Princess Leia would be in Gryffindor and not in Slytherin - but I also know characters that would be in Slytherin like Negan from the Walking Dead. So yeah, probably depends on the motives of an 8, if they do good or bad with it.

I completely agree with all of your choices, including the struggle with 9s being in Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. My husband is a 9. He puts himself in Gryffindor and I put him in both, like you. I will say, at his best, he is a Gryffindor.

I'm an INTP Slytherin, their Knowledge thirst can be either for academic reasons and Curiosity (Ravenclaw) or Power reasons, and personal reasons, things that they can actually use to do better in life

5w6 here and I've alternately tested on the fun quizzes between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. AS they say, "With great knowledge comes great power." I have to watch myself to not subtly manipulate others to get what I want when they disagree and I'm obviously right.

I see how nines as a type would fit comfortably into Hufflepuff. However, I've been a Luna loving Ravenclaw for every thinkable Sorting test the internet has come up with. But knowledge and creativity is my safe place. It's my version of the Hufflepuff common room.
