Polish youtuber (RoxMb) did it. He created entire world from bedrock and builded bedrock room in it with bedrock in the middle. He shoted this bedrock block with fire ball created by commandblock and Minecraft don't needed to calculate destroyed blocks because everything was almost unbreakable. Only shoted block was destroyed. Sorry for my english

I don't know if this has changed since I played Minecraft years ago, maybe they made bedrock stronger at some point, but I could swear I used to break bedrock all the time when playing with TNT, I just made a tunnel down to bedrock and filled it with TNT then set it off, it wouldn't break much and it was messy, but it made a decent hole in the ground straight to the void.

I of course used creative mode, but I swear I remember it all the time, either that, or there's some cases where the world generation will somehow fail to make a block bedrock.

I did something similar like this on the old version of the game but with TNT mine carts, and just spam them and most of the time it would break it

No. Bedrock has a Negative blast resistance. It cannot be broken other than in creative and with glitches.

“Without exploits”? I’m sorry, but I am to believe that using command blocks is even more of an exploit than just making an average bedrock breaking machine.

If you remove all the particles and make it not break anything except battle rock, then it could work
