In this video, I will show how I sort my vintage textile collection into five categories: quilt blocks, large pieces, small pieces and scraps, wearables, and household linens.

Wow that was fast...lol. Love several of those pieces. It is like stepping back in time with some of them, triggers memories of my grandmother...Ahhh, miss her.

Hi Kris! Watching an older video of yours. Fun to watch the warp speed sorting. I also have aprons and vintage handkerchiefs. I have yet to use them for the sewing/embroidery project I bought them for. Must be 18 or so years now. Happy New Year! Marion in Oregon. 🐦🐱

Smart to sort in a high traffic area so you're forced to make sure that you get it done. ✅ I actually love sorting and organizing so this would be fun to me. I have several bins that I have orphan blocks in and partial projects. I also have a big old fashion tv hutch cabinet thing ( old school heavy furniture) But I love it because it has 3 deep drawers where I keep yardage and bins that have my scraps organized by color and content, then the upper portion has more bins that I store my own 2 1/2' squares that I cut from scraps/ my strings/my 5' blocks I cut from scraps and my 2 1/2' strips I use for binding or what ever. ... OH! And fat quarters. 😜 I enjoyed seeing your process. Thank you for sharing.🌸
