Last Day in Madrid. Let's Go Urban Exploring!

This is my last day in Madrid before I head to Salamanca and then to Porto, Portugal. I had a great time here in this big city and I felt like doing some exploring on my last day in town for awhile. So join me as I say goodbye to Madrid and find some new places that I previously had not explored.

We've recently visited Madrid and this city was lovely, with beautiful architecture and full of life! I definitely recommend this marvelous city as one of the main tourist attractions of Spain! You won't be disappointed! Thanks for sharing!

You need to get back to Madrid. So much to see. I enjoyed all the Tapas bars in that city. We only spent 3 days there.

Atentado means attack, love to see Madrid again. I had a room in a student place in calle de la esgrima not far away where you walked around. Great time nice roof top parties with Spanish people and students from everywhere in the world. In Lavapies there was a small restaurant “económico “ led by two brothers in their seventies. I ate arroz a la cubana almost three times a week, a menú del día cost only 700 pesetas which is about € 4… btw what is the name of that little park with view on the cathedral? I don’t know the place would love to go there next visit..

That’s one of the things that blew me away about Madrid, how massive it is. There’s something for everyone and they are much friendlier than Barcelonans. Yea, it is safer. Much safer. I think prettier, more classic. I could live there if I didn’t love the coast so much that Valencia remains my first choice.
