I'm from Brazil and this bank operates here! Not sure about it being Bitcoin friendly! Recently this same bank is blocking transfers to Binance, claiming it is for the protection of their client.

It's definitely interesting, but it doesn't necessarily mean that Buffett's opinion toward bitcoin has changed. Ted Weschler and Todd Combs each run their own mini portfolios within Berkshire Hathaway. They have the autonomy to buy what they want. When Berkshire buys something it could be Buffett, Munger, Weschler or Combs that's doing the buying. We really don't know. Last year they bought Snowflake and I doubt very seriously that Buffett had anything to do with that as he's notoriously tech averse.

You're missing the mark a bit. They're acquiring the stocks of the companies that drive the tech, but they are not trading their funds into crypto.

If Warren and Charlie would have a better understanding of Ethereum they would like it a lot. First it is not so much a store of value (like gold), but Ethereum allows parties to implement contracts and do business in a secure way, even if these are anonymous and cannot be trusted. Second Ethereum has a huge moat, making it almost impossible to materially impact its position in the space.
