I just got done watching a video by the screenwriter saying that they made a lot of changes to his script. Apparently the movie got a wide range of reviews, many of them negative. It did however manage to be number one on Netflix at one point. Now that I know the backstory behind it I'm going to have to watch it and see what I think.
