Back in the 80's it was much more social.then now it's like top secret to expose your self as a writer

More people watch videos on youtube than meeting other writers and looking at the graff in their city.

Biggest thing that has changed in my opinion I the respect level. Artists used to have more respect back in the day. I get there's always gonna be beef it's just part of it but these days there's hardly any respect. I'm not the greatest artist by far but i know my lane. These days you got gangbangers or dudes who dont really get down like that bombing over everything or blowing spots up and that shit gets old. To the point where I don't even really hit the streets no more. I have to hit spots that them softies wouldn't even think about hitting. So I stick to highways and freight trains.

Lol unless they from somewhere close or have a name so unique only they’ve used it there’s absolutely no reason to change names.

Racking.. but at least in the Bay Area racking paint has been made next to impossible. Meanstreaks, 8mm oil paint sharpies, kiwis, and bucket rusto are still fair game tho. It is nice to indulge in cans n markers made for graffiti here and there. No question that they work better

Style and the realness. Toys being in well-known crews (crews aren't what they used to be). And no one is really down anymore. Pretty watered-down, tbh.

Grim has some work right by my house on this railroad! Some mural type shit. I'll never bring anyone there that may hurt the work just those that appreciate it!

Recommended to get a number or crew under your name notice this with the old school guys very smart move by them unless you are popular enough you don’t need it but at the end of the day with millions of people in the world hard to be unique also got some graff shit on my channel for anyone interested overall thank you for the content g

Around on the coast there's a lot of toy art but there's a few good artists here and I don't see as many blown up pieces in these small towns

One: posting videos of you painting. That option wasn't even on my wavelength.

Two: racking paint.
Buying paint online or at the store made/makes you a toy. Anyways that's what I have heard.

More people using rollers for fills and cans for pieces, even throwies.
