Yes you can use it with windows 10 and windows say previous versions but you’ll need to download the drivers from their website not so with a Mac you just plug it in and it works

So further information why Audio companies are charging rediculous prices for Thunderbolt Audio Recorders.
If you look the latency in Logic Pro X for the M-Audio MTrack 2x2 recorder you get a latency 6.8 Roundtrip & 2.8 ms output.
A very good result for a buffer set to 32 samples. So if you are only recording from two sources with the Track 2x2 why do you need more throughput that 480mbs? Even at 24bit / 192 kHz you are no where near the ceiling of what the USB C connector can do. In other words other than latency being slightly a 1-2ms faster why go Thunderbolt if you have to pay through the nose and ALSO BUY the extra Thunderbolt cable. Yss it, doesn't come with any of these Thunderbolt devices? If you are creating audio for YouTube you don't really need more that two mics recording at the most. So save some money and look at the C-Series Track 2x2 recording interface $129 CDN or less that $100 USD (With a USB-C cable included and lots of software and plugins FREE).

Can the big volume knob be mapped to Ableton to automate a track's volume? Or do i need a separate controller for that?

I have a question for you. Does your input signal still continue to come through even when your gain knob is turned all the way down?
