Student-led demonstrations in Serbia show no sign of letting up, three months after 15 people were killed when a train station canopy collapsed in the country's second largest city. Students blame government corruption and incompetence for the disaster in Novi Sad, and have taken their protest nationwide. The main target of their anger is president Aleksandar Vucic, who's facing the biggest test of his 12-year rule.

First one to say that 15 people were killed, not 15 people died. Thanks for being the first one to repeat what students and rest of us were saying for last 3 months, but everyone going around that to say it.

Interesting, the students never even mention Vucic, nor do they boo him, as would be expected. Sometimes they draw him on posters. But their main demands are for the system to be changed, not just to change the persons in power. Of course, when the system is changed, it is implied that he will go. In 2000, we had removed Milosevic, but the system had remained the same. This time, we want to do it differently. So, the students put Vucic on "ignore" mode and they tell him - you are not in charge! They want the judiciary, prosecutor, and police - allegedly independent institutions, to their jobs. They want responsibility and accountability. So, this is more than a protest against a president. It's a protest to change or overhaul the system completely.

American here. Wishing you the absolute best, at a time when I wish Americans had half the passion for rooting out corruption in their land that the Serbs are showing.

No one should be allowed to stay in power longer than 8 years. Now, it will be a mission impossible to oust the autocratic regime and root out corruption but these young ppl have superhuman energy and enthusiasm and the first step should be FREE MEDIA and depolitisation of state-owned institutions.

Investigate a story from the student protests about a female student whose lower jaw was broken by four thugs after the end of a protest march in Novi Sad. These thugs emerged from the premises of the Serbian Progressive Party. One of them is a close friend of the son of the now-resigned Prime Minister, Miloš Vučević. I'm sure your viewers would love to hear this story.

The majority of the Rus (Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians) in Serbia support the protesters in their fight against injustice. We wish we could join you on the streets...but Vucic threatens any foreigner participating in the protests will be a national threat to Serbia and their residency will be revoked. We love Serbia, and we wish it to be a full democracy, which our countries failed to become. Slava Srbijie!

I hope the students win, im Albanian and this need to happen in Albania to so maybe we can have peace between each other, Albania and Serbia can be good neighbors through economic cooperation, cultural exchanges, and open dialogue. Focusing on common interests and regional stability can strengthen trust and mutual benefits.

All officials in EU that are quiet on this will show that were indirectly involved, or they are immoral humans.

Serbia’s institutions are extremely corrupt..the same as my beloved Bulgaria and all over the Balkans..the bigger issue is that the population itself is used to living in this corrupt environment and a lot of these normal protesters are using corruption measures to gain their every day goals. In this line of thinking the corruption is not only on state level, but on human level itself. The problem is a lot deeper that it seems. Every time there is an outrage when something radical happens, but before that everyone is silent. Don‘t get me wrong that i don‘t symphatize to the casualties, but for me the issue is a lot deeper than that
