Finally someone taking full advantage of just how creepy stopmotion can be. As a fan of the artform I love to see it!

Edit: This thread makes me understand how Oppenheimer felt. I was going to just let it go, but people keep posting so I thought I’d make an edit. When I made my original comment, all I meant was that this was the first time I’ve seen stop-motion channeled into a more “traditional” horror movie concept, not that stop-motion has never been used for horror or frightening imagery in a more broad sense (such as Mad God, which yes I have seen, and it is incredible.) In hindsight, my wording was poor and somewhat vague, but that’s all I meant.

Robert Morgan is a genius animator, I can't wait to see his style and directing at work. I would love to see him gain much more tration from this, as he deserves.

I instantly knew who's animated creatures were in this as soon as I saw the them, I've been subscribed ed to his channel for years. I couldn't remember his name but his creations are unmistakable and his short films are unforgettablely unsettling, I'm so glad he is finally being shown in a feature film, yay for Robert Morgan.

As someone who works as an usher at a movie theatre ….this is what we need movies like this that can be played late at night with a good crowd

Stop motion a beautiful form of art, even just a simple figure can be brought to life, with a simple stop motion

I should note that this movie is directed by Robert Morgan, who previously has directed the short film The Cat With Hands

He’s a hella talented director and stop motion artist, so I sincerely hope that this will kickstart his career

Dude, I would KILL to see something like this in theaters!! I missed my chance with Mad God, but if I see a screening of this near me, I'm there day ONE!

Also, this feels like the kind of fever dream Phil Tippet would have when creating Mad God!

I've been following Robert Morgan's work for years now, and this has easily become my most anticapated film of 2024 😍
