Director, Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline) and producer Jordan Peele (Nope, Us, Get Out) team up to bring us a phantasmic thrill ride in the new stop-animation feature, Wendell & Wild. The titular characters, a pair of demon brothers played by comedy icons Key & Peele trick troubled teen, Kat Elliott (Lyric Ross), into bringing them from the underworld into the land of the living and mayhem ensues. Watch Wendell & Wild and its all-star cast including Angela Bassett, James Hong, and Ving Rhames, only on Netflix, October 28.

I noticed the separated lines between the swappable face plates have not been removed. If it is a a stylistic choice I really like that! I love seeing the signs of the actual craft in stop-motion. It is what makes it special.

I had no idea this movie’s story was gonna be more mature, I assumed it would be kid-friendly horror like Nightmare Before Christmas or Coraline. I can’t wait to see how Selick and Peele’s styles mesh together!

Crazy how we're getting so much awesome stop-motion animation from Netflix considering the fact they canceled plenty of animated series before they even aired, and all in one year starting with The House, then this, followed up by ONI: Thunder God's Tale, and finally Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio

This movie was amazing. There are so many details that were tended to and the artistry are pure eye candy. The main character is sooo cool. Love Key and Peele, as they have such fluidity when they’re together so you know you’re gonna laugh. The ending was sweet yet hard to swallow. You might cry. I loved it!
