Despite California eviction moratorium ending, COVID rental assistance still available

Despite hundreds of thousands of Californians behind or unable to afford rent, the eviction moratorium expires at the end of the month, prompting state officials to encourage those struggling to apply for emergency rental assistance, if they haven’t already.

They say it’s still available but they are not paying it out. I know tenants and landlords who applied two months ago and nothing. It’s operated by these incompetent non profits

Not a single mention about how the landlords will be assisted. The landlords are still paying the mortgage, mortgage interest, and any expenses while these deadbeats are living in their properties for free. Is the government gonna cut the property tax in half if the landlords don't receive the rent that are several months behind already?? Are the banks gonna tell the landlords that they are in this together and the landlords don't need to pay the mortgage interest?? Easy for THEM to say these nonsense while drinking fancy wines and eating Wagyu beef steak in their mansions on their "fundraising events!!"

renters need help it's called a job. it's a place were responsible people go to make money instead of living off other's that worked hard for what they have. but to busy at shopping malls buying that 75 inch t.v. making vehicle payments nail salon. fast-food drive thru to look for work. standing on roads with signs that should say cancel freeloaders. what a example teaching children that living is free. 👎😕
