Wow - the waste manager is an intelligent man. He clearly knows what he's doing. This city is a model for the world.

I've lived in Bayawan and I can say na hindi ito exaggeration in anyway.
Kahit state university nila malaki at malinis. Good job, Bayawan

Garbage pickers don’t get paid enough in my opinion. They are one of the pillars of what is a civilized society. Being poor is not an excuse for being dirty and not taking care of the environment. That’s a responsibility that we all need to share

Whoever legislated and continue to implement this great waste management are real PUBLIC SERVANTS! Together with them, the sense of DISCIPLINE by people in Bayawan city is really commendable.

This waste management deserves to be featured in the upstream media and be implemented country wide. As citizens of the Philippines, it is all our shared responsibility to reduce, reuse, and recycle our wastes.

Indeed, if government and people cooperate and coordinate, there is still hope we can make our places clean and green just like what people in Bayawan do!

Kudos po!

As a technical person, I admire the manager's thoughtfulness to explain in simple words, some in tagalog, even though he clearly knows how to explain it better in bisaya/english. Kudos to you sir!

This city is showing what the rest of the Philippines can become with proper waste management. This documentary should be shown to all LGU’s around the country to be used as an example.

The manager is very articulate. This should be highlighted in major news channels, role model city indeed.

this should be feature on mainstream media for other LGU’s to have an idea. at maging inspirasyon na den sa mga tao na posible. mahirap sa umpisa pero kakakayanin kung talagang gugustuhin. disiplina talaga at tamang implementasyon. isa sa kinahaharap ng problema ng mundo ang waste pollution. bukod sa increasing population.

I'm from bayawan and totoo malinis talaga, eco bag na gamit dito.

I like how this channel pivoted from food to fervor, from the self to public awareness and national advocacy

I really liked how this video shows what exactly I learned in a whole semester of environmental science.
The processes of how LGU should regulates not just their solid but also yun mga maduduming tubig nanggaling sa mga bahay bahay.
Nakakatuwa lng kasi kung pano i eexplain ni kuya ang mga processes ay ganun din siya tinuro ng prof ko. Galing ni kuya manager mag-explain, very demure, very mindful.
I hope these kind of implementation will continue with the rest the country
THANK YOU BAYAWAN! THANK YOU FEATR.

This waste management practice should be rolled out to the entire country. That manager and his team should be sent to Singapore for further development of their processes/system.

The City of Bawayan stands as a shining example for other communities to follow. Their leaders should be commended for introducing and maintaining practices that will undoubtedly benefit both their environment and citizens. A special acknowledgment to the manager and the lady enforcer, whose pride, passion, and intellect shine through their words. Their people's cooperation with their local government is truly admirable. Their collective efforts have created a model community that deserves to be emulated nationwide. While we may have strayed from the values of discipline, respect, and cleanliness as we grew older, it's never too late to make a change and choose the path of righteousness and discipline.

GREAT JOB BAYAWAN CITY!
GREAT JOB FEATR!

CONGRATULATIONS !!! Bayawan is showing the rest of the country how to tackle the pestering problem of solid waste management. It's a model that should be emulated by every city and municipality as a serious respect to the environment. The spokesperson is doing an incredibly effective job of underscoring the urgency of this challenge.

The good thing, too is other cities in Negros Oriental also benefit from their waste management center like Dumaguete. Our city pays Bayawan city to manage our trash. Segregation has always been done for years in Negros Oriental, too. Thank you for featuring this! I hope this can be replicated throughout the Philippines. 🎉

I've been to Bayawan noon and I can say it is indeed clean po. It's not only the implementation of the solid waste management program and legislation but also the cooperation, attitude and discipline of the people living in Bayawan because they think that being disciplined in terms of cleanliness for their surroundings they are concerned much for the good of all and for nature. Saludo ako sa people of Bayawan and the government working together to make your place better if not the best. Dapat tularan ng buonglugar sa Pilipinas to make it waste free. If you can do it then the rest can do it also. They just need the cooperation, right attitude and discipline to make their place waste free.❤️👍👏
