Before I got baptized I used to be a very talented tool in the hands of Satan playing his chaotic bedlam of noise - for those of you who are not following, that statement intimates that I was a DJ, Dee-Jay or Disk Jockey.

When I came into the church 6 years ago, the *musick* wasn't as bad as it is now. Sometimes I have to stand erect, willing myself by the counsels of sister White not to walk out of the church during their embarrassing display of dishonoring God and maybe take someone with me by my poor witness. I had to pray to God to change and strengthen me in that regard and help me to develop patience to endure the soca fete that happens every Sabbath. I mean seriously, it reminds me of when I used to play foolishness.

I have spoken to the first elder, the second elder, and even the _"praise"_ team - may I interject Exodus 32:5 here? - but I recieved no respite. *_"To morrow is a feast unto the Lord."_*

Now, dedicating a service to the Lord does not mean He accepts it - may I remind us of Cain's offering?

So whenever I am in church I stand only to show my reverence for God and I pray while the craziness occurs, not wanting to give the wrong witness to the brethren but I do not feel comfortable there, I have to restrain myself from singing in God's house because of the beat of the drums and the reggae-like strunming of the guitar(s), imagine that.

What I do now is sing my hymns throughout the week during devotion or just to past the time while doing chores to keep my mind heavenward so by the time the Sabbath comes around I am filled up of hymns to battle against the heresy happening in God's church.

Sigh. It is a shame I even have to feel this way and write about my unbelievable experience.

We *need* to pray for our brethren that their eyes may be opened and their ears unstopped so they can alter their course before it is too late.

I agree that sometimes separation between the two persons may help but often times in the case that the man is physically abusive leaving and returning and leaving frustrates some to murders 😢😢only if the abusive spouse is willing to do counseling it may the move in the right direction 😊❤

Does the communion service not give opportunity to 'start again' with God? At every communion when my feet are being washed, I confess my sins, 🎉 remember my baptism & recommit to God. It is very meaningful & brings peace & joy into my heart! From Botswana.
