G'day Gareth. Oooh this does look and sound very nice. Steak, ale and carrots were made for each other. Yes the meat content was a bit on the "lean" side, wanting shall we say. A bit like that chicken dish a few days back. Nice sides the cuali cheese and peas. Nicely balanced. I would definitely buy this if it were available in Australia. We do have a streak and ale pot pie.

That looked great nice side as well. I always wash those type of dishes for microwaving, and in the summer i use them for saucers for plant pots they are great for this purpose.

We only have one Iceland in south Ireland where I live, I've never been, but I'm going Saturday to buy luxury steak in ale with cheese cobblers... its got to be done! Thanks Gareth 😀

Either have that with home fried chips or some mash, had that a couple of times, I enjoy the Iceland luxury meals, the fish pie is the best of the luxury range

Hi Gareth Ive just tried steak in Ae with cheese cobblers and they were so tasty.not enough beef pieces in it.

I used to make beef with cheese cobblers but I made a cottage pie base and put cheesy cobblers all over the top instead of mash. It always went down well.

That did look really delicious Gareth, I don't recall you saying how much for the pack though, or did I miss it? I love dumplings too and miss the ones my mum would make. When we were kids (there were 4 of us) mum would make stew and dumplings and just add to it each day to stretch it out for up to a week!! We'd get in from school and ask what's for dinner, to which she'd say "stew"....we would moan and say "not stew again" 🤣 but as soon as we sat down and ate, it was like eating it for the first time....gorgeous 😋
