Why is the BBC 'defending' Ted Heath's 'child abuse'?

Since the Ted Heath child rape allegations surfaced elements of the right-wing press have engaged in a concerted campaign to undermine the police investigation & the credibility of witnesses Unfortunately, the editors and presenters of Radio 4's The Today Programme appear to have lost any sense of objectivity and have joined the rabble crying foul over Heath.

They all jump to the defence of their own all the time. You're seeing this now with 'Prince' Andrew...he's being allowed to go on without any questions asked, and with a 'sweetheart' deal meaning he can't be questioned on any aspect of the issue. Regardless of whether he's done anything or not, he should be at least made to answer questions.
