Being a teacher is a very rewarding profession but sometimes it can be tough.

I had a similar student once. I asked her to look for another teacher. Mind you, this woman had tried other teachers before and group lessons too, but she would still end up returning to me, her very first teacher.

Many students are alike what the video shows us. It's sad. But there are those who cannot afford to pay a language school or a particular tutor and make sweat to learn by alternative ways, though. And this channel has been assisting a lot of people, the ones who really want to learn, due to its quality and funny moments. Keep going Sir, Cheers! :)

Boy!, can I relate, my Spanish students are almost as bad, always missing classes and they think it's acceptable not to telephone or email. One even stated she missed the class because she didn't like going out in the rain, she lives 3 minutes walk away, 1 minute by car. If they start being difficult with payments, I cancel the lessons or if they have been particularly difficult I simply don't answer the door. As I am the only native English speaker in the village they soon get the message. I also have some great students, it's better to get them young, they adapt easier to English ways of teaching.

This is not the worst student. The worst is one who keeps trying, but keeps failing with the simplest things, he's not able to memorize anything, his mind is chaotic and disjointed, his short term memory almost non-existent, he's not able to focus, because his brain gets confused with everything. And as a teacher you are exhausted and demoralized, and it breaks your heart, because you know that student just cannot do it.
