I watched a Madden tournament from last week in Las Vegas on twitch. It was interesting. "Any thoughts on my observations": 1) 2/3 of the guys used the Falcons, and the other third almost all used Seattle; 2) about 1/3 to 1/2 the guys used the single back jumbo set almost exclusively; 3) Almost all the players used one primary set on offense and defense. 4) Several guys could scramble around in the backfield and get some long passes caught down field, often by using jump with Julio Jones; 5) the guy who won the PS4 bracket and finished 2nd in the Xbox bracket, as well as the guy he beat in the PS4 were both sick runners. They ran 75% plus, and had the best run stick I have seen. They didn't juke a lot, but had great patience with blocking development, and broke a lot of tackles???

Been doing this since you mentioned a while back that purples are trash this year. Can you do a vid on how to audible an individual player into a zone (i.e. cloud, hard flat, hook)? It's a little different than doing it in 17

Great Video!!! purple zone is very trash and has been last couple of maddens. This will help because ive been getting killed lately. Do you have any videos on best adjustments to stop outside run? I have been getting killed on that as well.

Very good tip this will be used but I have a question of you that you may know ... when you shade over or under are you allowed to also choose to shade inside or outside? I think It was possible in previous games but I'm not 100% on if it still exist

Just a small critique: might have explained how cloud, and hard flats actually defend curls. Can curl routes take advantage of everyone playing either hard, or cloud flats?

Don’t know if you’ve made any videos about setting depth charts but I play with the Panthers and make a ton of changes to my depth chart before I play. I’ve noticed even some advanced users don’t do this tho and they always pay dearly lmao. For example, I sub Curtis Samuel and CMAC as my two kick returners and have housed 8 kickoffs and a punt with Samuel. Fozzy just isn’t gonna do that

Eric you notice that people shut down corner strike by doing a cloud flat and hard flat to the bunch side? I noticed people doing it to Dubby and backing off the corner that's 1v1 on the far side of the field.
