I'm crying, I was feeling so so overwhelmed as a Cybersecurity major with 0 background in IT and little funds. I'm so grateful for your videos, your aura is very calming and reassuring. I have some anxiety and was doubting myself in this field, especially with adhd. But this gave me more confidence and a clearer way to go about this. there's a lot of gatekeeping in this field, so this really helps.

As someone who has slacked off during their entire bachelor's degree for cybersecurity, this video was awesome. There is so much more I want to learn and do. A lot of programs that I didn't even know about but look extremely useful and engaging. Also, you're really pretty❤️.

Thank you for this video! I was feeling really overwhelmed and hopeless especially since I dropped my bachelors degree after 2 yrs. I keep thinking that I was lagging behind my peers. Glad to know I can still work my way into the industry. Thank you very much! ❤

Definitely this timeframe is about formation and to whatever level of sophistication and to whatever state of mind achieved by beings, smart to very intelligent as you said you are, I enjoy the present moment. Theres time for everything, to whatever mess and deviations along the way there are time for corrections of things altered not just the deeds and mindsets. I enjoy the moment of the present. While staring at you and the way you sound is soothing to the mind and to the nerves, half words content comprehended, half pictured in memory sounds to be arranged later.

This was very helpful. I'm almost 60, with pretty much no knowledge in computers. The good news is I don't need a job. I just want to do something that looks like fun. I don't really care (within reason) how much it pays.

A friend told me to look into Network Chuck and one other guy. Those were way over my head. This seems to be a good starting point. I'll watch it again. I'm going to find some free training first. When the time comes that I know a lil bit, paying for the classes won't be an issue. I just want to make sure I have a little bit of the basic language and terms down before I do.

I got the Sec+ cert when I was in the Air Force, it’s definitely not enough to get into cyber security. It’s a basic requirement for A LOT of Tier 1 helpdesk jobs, and then you’ll need something better to move up into real cyber security jobs

Hi Sandra, thank you for this super helpful video.
One thing I would like to mention that your talking speed was very fast for me, to understand. I had to watch your video at 0.75x 😢😅

I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about cybersecurity or the tech field in general. Realistically, would you still recommend pursuing a career in tech in today’s environment? It seems like the sector is coming down from a high and is already on a downtrend. From what I’m hearing, the market isn’t really looking good for entry-level positions, as employers want mid to high-level employees. Also, considering the impact of AI in the coming years, is a career in tech something I should even consider for the next 5-10 years, or should I explore other options? I appreciate any advice or insights you have to offer!

Thank You Sandra. This video was very informative. I'm torn on what to do because I always wanted to pursue cyber security. Back in college I was a Security, Risk and Analysis major which I did enjoy the classes. But I had to take a C++ class which killed my interest entirely and lost complete interest. I don't want to learn how to code but I do want to get into tech. I just don't know if maybe I should pursue something else outside of cyber security now.
