Whatever design you choose I think it's most important that it reflex YOU and your personality, not just mimicking someone else.
I like the gray and farmhouse look but I like a little more color, so I painted my bathroom cabinets a soft green and plan to do the same for my linen closet and laundry cabinets.

Yay it’s marvellous to see a fellow Melbournian on YT. Subscribed.

I predict that wallpaper is here to stay because of peel and stick. You can rip down an entire room of wallpaper in five minutes and start with a new one or none. That lack of commitment makes wallpaper a huge room-changer that's both more interesting and easier than paint.

I painted my office walls AND ceiling a rich Olive green back in April and I’m so glad it’s becoming more trendy 😅

That’s amazing, I have found I have been decorating with dark tones and vintage florals similar to William Morris. I would like to do an accent wall in the bedroom but I am tossing between moody dark colours such as black, plum or very dark green to adding Wallpaper either in an Art Deco style or a vintage floral. I like to mix modern with traditional style. I love Art that expresses nature whether in a modern style or a English Cottage style. I adore wallpaper, but not every where.

Agree with painting ceilings. Darker walls with white ceilings have always given me the creeps. That's just me.

After taking down several rooms of wallpaper several years ago. I will never do wallpaper ever again!

I love the prediction. It's interesting enough without the clickbait title btw ;)

You’re the 2nd designer predicting the same colours for the coming year. Honestly, I’m not a big colour person . I still like what I call neutrals but I am excited to see a different take on them and more saturated colours. I’ve been bored and turned off of the decorating shows because it’s all the same old, same old.

It would be great if you explained why you think what you think, what makes you believe that modern organic is gonna COME in 2023 ? From what I'm seeing, this trend was already ebbing this year and will likely not continue far in 2023 whatsoever. It has been going on since 2019 and catalyzed during the covid years, but I don't believe it will continue far.

Bridgerton is not victorian style...it's regency....these are completely two different eras in history and two totally different design styles.

Bridgerton is not Victorian, it’s Regency style. Sherlock Holmes is. Victorian era was Queen Victoria was queen. Victorian era and the Regency period are from the XIX century, but they aren’t the same.

If it's a trend, it isn't here to stay. It's a trend and at some point will be gone to come back around later. Bridgerton is NOT Victorian era, it's Napoleonic era. I am so glad I don't follow trends - those colours are hideous.
