I just put a new one on a e45 because most of the time the sand get in that join and we're out the internal walls now the new swivel they install dust cover to prevent this type of problems what I will do it's take it apart inspect the internal wall if they have grooves you better get a new one if no you're going to have leaks again

Thank you pet for showing the spindle. l broke a top hose in a cold day last week, as the top spinning port was too stiff, twisted and broke one hose (walking line), lost a lot of fluid. l replaced all center joint seals a few year ago, since it puts on 500 hours. Its never a good idea to turn or run it without a good warm ups in a deep freeze.

I have the same unit (331) I broke and replaced the blade hoses on mine without removing the swivel joint. Nightmare...and I couldnt get the fittings tight enough....and the cylinder itself leaks. A rebuild kit is only $25 on ebay. I'm considering doing it myself. I can't see from the video though...what has to be removed topside to get access to remove the cylinder? I had the floor panel off, but that doesn't seem to be enough room to get off all the hoses.

We have rebuilt several, they hold up well. The seals are only $100 or less. It's just a lot of labor

Is it possible that swivel joint seal is bad if blades slowly falling when raised up, or a leaking hose close to swivel

I have the same problem on a 322 but the dealer insist I should buy a new one for $1400 instead of trying to replace the seals so I am wondering how you repair went and if the seal might have started to leak on you again....?
