This video shows you how to install new upper control arms from TRQ on your 2005-2021 Nissan Frontier (4.0L V6). Control arms are a crucial part of the suspension system of your vehicle. They not only carry the load of the vehicle to the wheel, but they typically also maintain its alignment. Control arms are typically large and strong, so you may be surprised it needs replacing. They contain rubber bushings for smoother rides at the cost of eventual wear, or integrated ball joints that require replacing the entire arm when they wear.

Estimated installation time for a professional technician is approximately: 1 hour 18 minutes

This video helped a lot! Question I have is that after I completed the passenger side, i started the drivers side. I then finished the video and realized i didn’t space the arm with a piece of wood. I then returned to the passenger side once I finished the drivers side and loosened up the two control arms nuts, and jacked the lower control arm up to where I could fit the piece of wood before re-torquing them again. Think this will be fine? I couldn’t remove the ball joint from without damaging it. I hope this makes sense.

I'm starting to lose my mind with getting the bolt past the steering shaft. I have it disconnected, but it looks like I don't have nearly as much room to get the bolt thru as there is in this video. I had to put way too much force on the steering shaft to get the bolt out. What am I doing wrong?
