The last time one of my friends slept over at my house we slept in the same bed and apparently she woke up several times to my dog trying to push her out of the bed

I need my own bed but my bestie sleeps on the comfiest mattress on the floor, smothered with blankets and pillows, so she sleeps like royalty❤❤😂😂 i hate people sleeping over but she is def an exception and we have the most amazing time and we'll be chillin on her bed watching youtube videos till 4am😂😂❤❤

This just unlocked a cursed memory of mine...
In 8th grade when we had a trip to Washington D.C., I had to share a hotel room with 3 other guys, and when they started talking about who was taking the bed, the chair, the floor, etc...
Of course the reason was because they didn't want to share the bed, and it's because they didn't want to appear "gay"... I was so exhausted that I was not about to give up that bed, so I made sure to be in the bed both nights and when they got annoyed that I wouldn't give it up, I told them that if "appearing gay" was their concern, that they were welcome to sleep on the floor...
Let's just say I'm glad that i never had to room with them after that...

A message tho those who need it:
If you find yourself in this situation, just take the bed, because you are entitled to it, and if your roommates say otherwise, then just ignore them, and maybe choose not to room with them again 😉
If you're staying over at someone else's house though, and they don't have an extra bed or dont want to share the bed (ask them beforehand), just bring a sleeping bag or air mattress, because it's not worth the hassle to have to awkwardly confront them like this...
