One thing Fury has relied on heavily in recent fights is timing that left check hook as the opponent comes in. Does no damage but knocks them off balance and stops their attack. Did it to wilder, whyte and chisora very successfully it's a great defensive action. If he uses this against usyk on his way in he could unsettle his rhythm. Also if he chooses to use his footwork and be evasive, with a long arm guard (7" reach advantage) and pick counter punches in the early rounds, he can start to rough him up from mid rounds onwards.

Genuinely tough fight, but Fury has more attributes than Usyk

They all assume that Fury beats Joshua. We won't find out until they fight and you can guess forever. If Wilder managed to sit Fury down on his arse 3 or 4 times I'm sure Joshua is more than capable of doing the same.

His biggest achievement in the sport is beating a 40 year old klitchko who had been out the ring 12 months and was coming off a loss from fury and it took him everything he had. He's been hand fed bums for years and now he's run out of road with nowhere to go. No more pulevs or povetkins to fight only class men at the top of the division. His boxing ability is letting him down unfortunately he just isn't as good as the top guys and there is no shame in that, he had a good career been champ and earned plenty of money. He's lost the dog in him and the hunger I can't see him beating fury / wilder / joyce or usyk so where does he go?? It's a tough one isn't it 🤷‍♂️

I see it differently! I honestly think Usyk's attributes will off set a LOT of what Fury does. All that feinting and twitching won't work against Usyk, who is a constant moving target. Tyson has already been on record a few times saying he struggles with smaller guys who can move well. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the fight doesn't even happen. Fury, imho doesn't really want it!

I thought that the Fury v Joshua fight had to take place on 3 Dec because the Usyk fight was for February.
So the Fury v Joshua fight could’ve been pushed back two weeks then.
