I did the installation like you showed but in windows 10 pro the maven is just not doing its job, its not downloading any dependencies. The laptop is brand new the windows pro came with it.
I unzipped a jdk 11 binary from the main java website, into a java folder in program files, setup all the environment variables, made sure the system was detecting the java version and path. the intellij picked up the JDK no problems uptil now. But the maven isnt pickin up the dependencies. there are only 3 of them. Please help.
