I got two kittens from a shelter (One year old today! 🎂😺) who’d shared a cage since tiny baby time. They support each other and are family. And they do play and keep each other company. Two boys, the only downside is they like to plop down on top of me to sleep in a catpile, and they’re heavy!

I'm a one cat guy and he's a one human cat. We love each other very much.

I have two, but they weren't adopted together. Socrates (male) is 14 and Tesla (female) is 10. Both are fairly laid back - Tesla in particular doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body - & inseparable. We moved recently, & they've definitely been cuddling together as they've adjusted to the new place.

We adopted 2 siblings, both males, from a cat rescue when they were a couple months old. I first met them a few weeks earlier, but they were still too young to be separated from their mother. They are both ginger cats. They get along well and still play, groom and chase each other around the house. We have had them 5 years now and would be lost without them. 🐈🐈❤️

Very thorough, thanks. I found a very sick female orange kitten. Once she got healthy and was spayed, I knew her sweet personality needed a companion. When she was 8 months old I adopted a male orange cat who was almost a year old. Best matchup ever. They act as if they were litter mates. Two is my limit but I get so much joy watching from both of them.

I have 2 brothers. They get on well most of the time. But I don't feel so guilty leaving for work. They have each other.

A lot of shelters, if asked, will let someone looking to adopt a pair of cats, let you know which ones they would like to not split up if possible as well 💕
Thank you for a wonderful video!

I recently adopted two kitties, at 13 weeks 🐱🐯. I would suggest doing so.
1. Their brother and sister, so no fighting.
2. Even when I'm gone, they both have a playmate.
3. While family, they have very different personalities. So that's fun to watch.
4. I love cats, so it's fun to have them...when they meet me at the door.

Definitely the way to go but I disagree about the costs. Vet care can be very expensive and one chronically ill cat is even too much for most people. I think you should figure worst case scenario BEFORE you adopt two sweet, precious felines.

We had a pair of male littermates that were best buddies but sadly lost one at only six years old, leaving the other brother absolutely devastated. We weren’t emotional ready for new kittens but knew we needed to get them as quickly as possible because the remaining cat was the type who needed his own tribe. We ended up getting a pair of 7wk old littermates that got along very well with each other, one male and one female. With something new to distract him, the older male’s grief started visibly easing fairly rapidly and he quickly bonded with the two new babies and “supervised” the raising of them. Three years later we have a tight-knit and harmonious feline family that we routinely find in a three-headed snuggle puddle.

I got 2 kittens, brother and sister, and I can’t imagine my life without them. They had already bonded being from the same litter, and we are one happy family 😻😻

We got 2 cats, both kittens, a male and female. We got them on the same day. They quickly bonded with each other and would often play together and snuggle up together. The first night with us the male was calling out for his mother (he had been taken away from her that same day) and our female kitten comforted him and helped him settle. She was always very motherly to him even though she was only a couple of weeks older than him.

I love, love, LOVE that people are now realizing that cats are not loners, and do like to have other cats around. They do gather in _prides_ in community/barn situations, and have Bonded Buddies. This is something many Cat People have know for - _ever, _ by pure observation. Some cats do like to be the only ones, but most like company.

The question for me is: does 2 cats mean twice the odds of being woken up in the middle of the night (or 6AM)? I assume so.

I'm on my second formerly feral kitty. She had tuff early life. She's definitely an only child type. She's punched the bottom of the screen in storm door 3 times. At other cats just saying hi. Nope. Only room for one princess in the castle. 🤔🤔😺

my family had 2 black cats, 1 female(Karen, 9) and 1 male (Caleb, 9) Karen had to be put down last year due to a growth in her mouth that made it difficult for her to eat and drink and groom herself. she was a very small cat, cute as a button, shy but sweet. she had an eye infection which meant she had one cloudy eye. I miss her all the time 😢😢😢❤

Two Calicos and one Tuxedo male. The Calicos weren't raised together but have bonded and love each other. They also love the Tuxedo, who is about to turn 21 in a couple of weeks!

Actually, two does not guarantee that they will not get into trouble. They can get into trouble together.
