Persona 4 The Animation is definitely one of the better anime based in a video game

Lyrics

Glaciers of ideas, importing
To my friends then exporting
To the next, keeping it open, we want no closing
Even without doubts, our thoughts can be dope and
This mind trade no one can stop
An act of thinking is terrible to stop
We just wanna change up, not drop
And my crew can rock it like up-rock
Life is tedious if it ain't flowing
Copy and paste? Constant defaulting?
Put my courage to it, begin showing off
That's the way we wanna live
Keep going, yeah

What was so much of transparency
Turned into bright expectation
My instinct tells me to keep going together
(Going together)

It's breathtaking moments in life, addicted to it
Minds craving more and more
I'm believing you and I can do anything, we can change the world
The sky's the limit, we can spread wings
To roadless travel, together we go

Dude, that part with all the personas at the end is actually so sick, Especially seeing Izanagi swinging his sword around!

All of the visual edits covering the characters seem to have some sort of representation for their character. I don’t know entirely what it might be but I’ll give an attempt to speculate.

Yu Narukami/TV Static: This is probably the second easiest, the static represents the mystery of the TV world of course, but also could be used as a representation of what Yu was at the beginning of the show, a blank slate ready to be unveiled to Inaba, revealed as the calm speaking, perpetually stoic, and lovably dorky dude.

Yosuke Hanamure/Newspaper: I was racking my brain about Yosuke’s until I decided to go see what a Japanese newspaper looked like, then it hit me as to why it works for him. Junes is kind of ruining the smaller businesses of Inaba, and it seems like no matter what he does he’s near the center of things. Whether it’s due to being the manager’s son, or simply because he works there, he’s force into the drama about Inaba mom and pop shops being shut down one by one. The newspaper could also be symbology of his role as the ideas man, facts unveiled giving way to hypothesis set by the ideas man of the group.

Chie Satonaka/Forum site:This was as frustrating to mull over as Kanji’s, so I may be 100% wrong on both. The media covering Chie seems to be some kind of forum site or text chat room. Possibly this could relate to her bouts of theory crafting and willingness to hear out all other sources before putting her two-bits in, mostly in the form of a summary of the conversation the group has on theory crafting and pooling their information together.

Yukiko Amagi/News report:The Amagi inn is famous in Inaba, anyone who’s played the first three hours of the game and payed attention knows this. Much like Yosuke, Yukiko also has a lot of the public of Inaba’s attention in the form of expecting her to take over the Amagi Inn at some point. News crews, TV shows, and even that faulty TV host trying to strong arm her into making some sort of haunted show, the Amagi Inn gets no end to its reputation with Yukiko being pulled into the drama.

Kanji Tatsumi/Criminal database(?): This was a pain in the ass to think about. The best I could think of for the media covering Kanji before his reveal is a criminal database of sorts, most likely due to Kanji’s rep as the town delinquent by his misunderstanding of what his father said to him. Kanji’s spent his life enjoying less masculine activities, and was relentlessly mocked for it. In retaliation he started to act more masculine, dying his hair and jumping to physical violence as a means of problem solving. As the group’s muscle it was helpful to have him for sheer intimidation value to the group, and the willingness to charge in headfirst to protect the group was needed.

Rise Kujikawa/Risette:This was by far the easiest to nail down. Rise’s been a figment of the media, she knows firsthand how out of hand things can get when it comes to publicity and how media works. It was miserable for her after a while, and it continued on even after she left with her agent pestering her to come back, along with the stalkers. The camera man and the kid who stalked Yukiko being key examples of such.

Teddie/Text symbols: This was surprisingly easy to theorize on. Text symbols are often used as a replacement for expletives in texts or used comedically in comics targeted for all audiences. It could also be taken as simple garbled space that shouldn’t actually be used. Teddy is from the TV world, but the shadows treated him like he shouldn’t be there just like any human that was thrown in. In a professional paper or headline you wouldn’t use half the text symbols that are used for expletive covers, because they’re something that shouldn’t be there, much like how Teddy felt about being in the TV world and how he felt for a short time while in the Investigation team. (I know I’m grasping, but it’s the best I got.)

Naoto Shirogane/Code: Naoto’s dungeon looked like an old school comic book character’s high tech hideout. Other than Naoto wanting to come off as more masculine, she’s a very ‘by the books’ personality. She sticks to a code, her code of ethics, her code as an investigator, and changing out of that code feels off to her. Her joining the group brought in an actual source of governmental influence, able to reliably give information that the cops had on the investigation, something the group desperately needed.

I’ll possibly edit/revise if I feel like it or if what people respond to this makes more sense than what I typed.

I find it funny that for a series that tends to dive into concepts like the connected subconscious of mankind I always see new comments. We seemingly thought of these songs around the same time and whatnot.
