Nose bleeds are due to very dry air. Try for a week with a humidifier, and you should see the difference. Sorry for your friend. We need better senior care. If your brother and mom had tumors, please seek a better doctor.❤❤❤❤

I think your positive attitude is great, with so much happening!
As for using a humidifier this time of year, I suggest getting a humidity meter - I have several cheap ones from various makers, and cross check them against each other to make sure they are in the ballpark of an accurate reading.
If a humidifier is used when the humidity is already over 60%, that could cause mold growth somewhere in a household - which is more likely to cause sinus problems instead of relieve them. In early fall, I'm more likely to use a dehumidifier over here.
