I came across the name of the film on the hotel's Wikipedia page and was immediately intrigued. It is great that such a step has been taken to further publicize such a big event to the world!

It was a film with a lot of emotion and imagination. When I saw the streets, the empty restaurant, the hotel room, I couldn't help but think: who knows who passed through these places, what sad events took place, whose blood watered the ground. Like the protagonist, I wondered where each person was during this war, what they thought about the war and how they overcame these traumas.

The way everything was warm and beautiful when the protagonist didn't know anything, and then when she became conscious, the music changed and the streets were dark, really captured that feeling. It hurts when people are so uncaring or feel entitled to so much evil, the world is still like that. Who knows what painful things have happened on the street we pass, in the hotel room we stay in, but we are not aware of it.

I saw her play in theater (during MESS) in 2010. and I think it was so better than a movie, the emotion of hers, describes emotion of all people who lived there and suffered. As a teenager back in 2010, I didn't know about Vilina Vlas, just like most of my generation that was born during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We DON'T need hate, but we have to know what exactly happened. We know what exactly happened in II WW. Bosnians have to have their (our) own history, even after 20+ years that had passed by..

This is so much like what happened to a tourist I recently met. He read Andric's book about the once lovely and picturesque town of Visegrad, and decided to pay a visit, only to realize the horrors under the carpet...

Tuzno je sto skoro da i ne postoji ni jedan reditelj na cijelom balkanu, koji bi mogao da prikaze sliku balkana koja ne poziva na ponovnu mrznju, nacionalizam i te ostale provokativne emocije koje su duboko usadene u nase gene.

Zasto ne bi mogao da se snimi film koji ujedinjuje sve tri nacije i lomi sve nase predasude. Nemamo mi takvih reditelja. Ovakav film svako moze da snimi, kao i sto ovih dana svako moze da napise knjigu.
