I'm glad she expressed to her son at the very beginning that the reason he was there is to prove and pass on her story. Because a lot of people, even TODAY, deny it happened or say it was voluntary. We need to continue to educate our children like this for the future.

As I watch this today, Kitty is alive at the age of 97. Bless her for making this heart wrenching video, it shows what pure evil can lead to.

How she managed to turn out to be a functioning human in society after witnessing and living through all this... She is an incredibly strong person.

“30 members of your family, your grandfather and grandmother, all of my schoolmates, everyone in our village, your fathers family, everyone’s ashes are here.” the tremendous amount of lives lost in the Holocaust it’s always staggering. So many futures and histories obliterated by hate.

I first watched this documentary when I was a small boy in the 1970's and have never forgotten it. Thank you, Kitty, for this testimony. I am glad you survived to live a full life in Britain.

Kitty is one tough lady. The courage to survive in the first place, then the courage to go back when she acknowledged she wasn't 'psychologically ready' (I think she underestimated herself there) and THEN to tell her harrowing stories in that awful place because she knew how important it was to do so, shows her to be an incredibly brave and determined human being. The world needs more Kitty Harts. Much respect!

I’ve watched just about every documentary on WWII and its concentration camps but this one hits differently; this woman’s strength is immeasurable.

For her to choose to face her trauma head on like that... I am lost for words. What unimaginable strength and resilience this woman has.

I really appreciate and respect the choice of the filmmakers to not use any music. Kittys testimony is as emotional and harrowing as it gets as is. This should be watched by every hisory class about WW2.

These old documentaries are such pleasure for having no special effects, extravagant soundtracks etc. Just people speaking.

I don’t think people really grasp the situation they were put in until Kitty is giving the tour to her son. I shed tears along with her.

Of all the portrayals I have read of the Holocaust, this incredibly brave woman’s words will stay with me the most. She was so articulate about what she experienced. Thank you.

You can feel the absolute overwhelming emotion, anger, anxiety in her recalling each part of this place. She's describing every detail and you can feel it in her voice what it is doing for her to return there. She's very strong to endure what she went through and then to return years later.

I remember watching this as a young man on PBS in 1979. It's nice to see from other comments that Kitty is still alive at 95. I admire anyone that lived through these horrors can created a normal life. Never forget.

I guess there are no words to express my immense empathy for her and her mother. So very grateful she shared her story, we must NEVER forget what happened here!!!

This is why we should never allow history, no matter how terrible, to be erased.

The human capacity to hurt others is scary and stories like hers will help prevent it from happening again.
