When I moved from Merced, California to Denver, Colorado in summer of 2012 I got tickets to see Silversun Pickups live at Red Rocks for my birthday which is September 29th. So we got to Denver in I think June and the concert was in September a week or two prior to my birthday. It lived up for sure and was so awesome. I had become a huge Silversun Pickups fan by that point, their third album “Neck Of The Woods” had come out I think around spring and I was a huge fan of it. I couldn’t wait to hear Brian’s voice and guitar at Red Rocks but unfortunately the bass player was giving birth to their twins so she couldn’t be there to play the show and I think her Bass tech filled in and she looked very similar and played a great show. Wow 13 years ago now, holy hell.
