Funny that gold over sterling used to considered fashion jewelry now is not because the price of sterling has went up so high. I do love that sterling is more affordable though most of my pieces are sterling. I prefer sterling for jewelry and for a precious metal to save for its value I do gold bullion not the Jewlerey. Only for the fact that I will never regain my money from the jewelry due to the cost of crafting the piece. I literally love my jewelry have lately been into the Native American style jewelry. All the old stuff is usually sand casted and all crafted by hand and is so beautiful. I have a native piece on every finger currently. I will never stop collecting Jewlerey it helps me remember my Granddad and great granddad when we used to buy sell and trade jewelry and precious metal. I think I got my great granddads love for the Native Jewlerey for sure! By the way some beautiful jewelry there loved the signet ring and snake ear stud
