I like this view better, but do what you like. The overhead we just miss quite a bit of what you do…. Anything at or lower than the measuring tape on your table is unseen.😊

Fabric totally works for strap connectors; I use a strip of decovil light, centered, the same width as the finished strap. The same is also good if you want whole straps from fabric as well.
