Really a great story. With all the rebuilds it sounds like the theatre that just wouldn't die. What better place for a ghost to haunt, knowing that where they haunt will be there for a long time. Thanks John for another great video!

I absolutely believe that renovations DO cause spirits to awaken! About a year ago, I had my son-in-law tear out and remove a somewhat small'ish pantry that my husband's father had built about 20-25 years ago. They were extremely well-built shelves, but they were very narrow and didn't hold many items. I ordered a couple of panty/shelf units from Amazon, and when they got here, my SIL removed the panty H.C. had built. The day after, my SIL was walking through my room and a little decoration I had made from resin flew off the shelf it had been on, and fell to the floor just behind my SIL. He had NOT knocked it off the shelf as he went by - I literally watched it "fly" off the shelf after he had passed. It dawned on me at that moment that we had hurt H.C.'s feelings by ripping out his hard work. So I said right out loud, "Oh my goodness, H.C., I'm so terribly sorry that I did not think to ask you if it was okay, or at least tell you what we were going to do! The shelves you built were wonderful quality and fine handiwork, but I needed something larger. Please accept my apology!". That was a bit over a year ago, and I've heard nor seen anything from him since. But we still "feel" him near at times. He died about 18 years ago, suddenly, from a heart attack while he was at a community council meeting. We think he is waiting until his wife, who has never remarried, passes and they can go off together. He is welcomed to stay - as long as he behaves himself! LOL

I think everyone would like to believe in questionable spiritual activity, but some might be afraid of the consequences of such an experience directly.

Hi John, what a wonderful video about the Theater. Did you see in the picture on the right side from 06:04 - 06:16 there is a white 'orb' near the theater curtains on right side. The story of Miss Vicky leaves one in wonderment as to what happened to her. I'm wondering if there was another way out of her dressing room? it's interesting to think that he just 'vanished, ' but in the realm of possibilities that anything is possible. I need to look back through YouTube to see what other Curious History stories that I have missed out on because I'm subscribed with "ALL" notifications on.
