Fist of Legend is a 1994 Hong Kong martial arts action film directed by Gordon Chan, featuring action choreography by Yuen Woo-ping, and produced by and starring Jet Li.It is a remake of the 1972 film Fist of Fury, which starred Bruce Lee as the lead character. The film is set in Shanghai International Settlement in 1937 during the Second Sino-Japanese War as the city is occupied by Japanese forces.

I just found out that the first japanese guy who told him to walk away with his shoes is Kenji Tanigaki- The OG of Hong kong action choreography and the choreographer for Rurouni Kenshin movies!

One of THE BEST, if not, THE BEST Kung-fu movie EVER made. Even the feeling I get ... the attachment from the time period when I initially watched it has been preserved in my brain. There is such an aura, an energy that just cannot be remade. I don't know, I wish people.

Another epic Kung Fu movie is Tai Chi Master (Jet Li and Siu-ho Chin again) which is probably my favourite kung-fu movie tied with this. I'd really like if anyone could tell me ANY 'retro' kung fu movie that rivals these.

Still prefer Jet Li over Donnie Yen in terms of charisma. Jet is always humble and calm while Donnie a complete show off.
