Could you please make a video about the Northwest Airlines fleet before the merger with Delta? I live in Minneapolis which was the airline’s headquarters, so it would mean a lot if you did.

When someone says US Airways I think of Cactus 1549

US Airways also used to be known as Allegheny Airlines. As US Air, one of the aircraft they used to operate was the BAC 1-11. When they first started transatlantic flights, they operated 767s and then transitioned to the A330.

Whoa! You completely forgot Allegheny, Piedmont, and America West. These three carriers merged to form The original US Air.

You forgot that US Airways also had a budget version known as Metrojet.

If I remember correctly US Airways also had Boeing 767 which they got from the Piedmont merger.

I don’t know if you did this but I have always been curious about the fleet of ANA

You should do a video on Continental Airlines’ fleet.

US Airways also had B767-200 that were retired within the first year of the merger with American Airlines

US Air had Boeing 727's and 737's at one time as well and maybe DC 9's. I remember this in the 1980's. Some of these aircraft would have been acquired from the PSA merger.

I remember when I flew US Airways on their 757-200 when I was 9 to Lihue, Hawaii

US Airways is the only US carrier that has stranded me overnight, they did that 3 times and always at Charlotte

When DJ's Aviation says US Airways = I say Chesley Sullenberger

Disappointed to hear no mention of America West in this video, that merger was a huge part of USAir and now American Air history. Also a big reason for the almost all Airbus fleet.

I do remember back in 2014, US Airways did had A340. From San Juan, Puerto Rico to Philadelphia. It’s sad to see that airline gone, which it’s my one of my favorite airline.
