You might be very surprised that this is not a Nightwish video - but was put together by the incredibly talented South American fans who are listed at the end. Every frame you see is taken from dozens of videos and skillfully woven into what you have just watched. Brilliant skill, talent and dedication. Well done to everyone involved.

Edema Ruh, is from the King Killer, Book Series, where the Edema Ruh is a nomanic Tribe, so the line "We are the Edema Ruh", could be interpreted as we (Nightwish band) are just as a nomads travelling.

Nice back stage images there ; ) That small room is a practicing cabin in Kitee....where they have done magic a long time. It is Floor time so not so old.

Wow. When will the great compositions end. Nightwish can put a set list of 50 songs for a 5 hour show and they will all be awesome.

Marco's bass really makes this song punch.

As mentioned elsewhere in the comments. The Edema Ruh is nomadic, Gypsy like group of storytelling bards / musicians in a book written by Patrick Rothfus named “The Name of the Wind” in which the main protagonist of the story is boy named Kvothe, who is an Edema Ruh.
In the story there is a lot of attention on how the Edema Ruh tell stories that are forbidden and largely forgotten.
Nightwish are an Edema Ruh family.

One of my favorite songs, a cool video and a great reaction!

Please watch the accoustic version on the ship “Baltic Princess” where Nightwish did a show in 2015 or 2016. Edema Ruh was performed in an intimate setting without Tuomas and Emppu (they were in the audience). Floor also did the Heart cover there)

I loved "The Name of the Wind". Highly recommend it!

As others have said, the video is footage from "Please Learn the Setlist in 48 Hours", a documentary about Floor joining the band in 2012. The song is off the 2015 album "Endless Forms Most Beautiful". I love to see the guys goofing around - and you two too, but I don't want to see anyone actually wearing a tutu.

How does this happen? Every song, I haven't heard yet.
The melody of the chorus, then Troy joins in, ooh.
The video clips were great to see, with them on tour, excellent fan made video.

Another great reaction video, thank you so much for your fun commentary (12:03 "C'mon, smell the noise" made me laugh). All the best to you both. :)

Not seen that video before and thoroughly enjoyed it - the smaller venues you mentioned are predominantly in the US, they've been doing arena's and stadiums in most other markets for quite some time. Great reaction to an often overlooked but none the less brilliant track 🤘

Definitely a feel good song! A good reference for how long ago a video is, is: Floor without tattoos or Floor with tattoos! 😀❤️

Scenes are from 2 documentaries that I noticed. Making of Endless Forms most Beautiful and Please learn the set list in 48hrs. Both that I really hope you 2 check out if you haven't. They give so much inside what the band is like behind the scenes and what it takes to make an album. Also how Floor came to the band.
Also to answer Wolfmans question, Edema Ruh was made for Endless forms most beautiful album, so 2015. And NW still does smaller venue's too, especially when they come to State side. You guys need to fan more this band so they won't fit on 2000-5000 seat venue's. Hahah

It really is a feel good song, even a happy tear song too I know I welled up a bit. Wolfman enjoyed it and Seeing SueSue's face light up is so nice. The music at the end is from Shudder Before The Beautiful, Another great track if you havent reacted to it yet. Take care both

I hate Facebook, but do check out Floor's page. She communicates with the fans all the time. Those small rooms were in the US during the 2012 tour when Floor joined Nightwish. You are correct SueSue. This song is all about a troupe of musicians celebrating each other and the nomadic lifestyle of the road. What about the subscribers who are blind?

One by one we light the candles of this show
One by one, enter the theatre of the primal birth
Silently watch the planetary curtain go down
Laugh and rejoice, as the powerful play greets you tonight

We are the Edema Ruh
We know the songs the sirens sang
See us dream every tale true
The verse we leave with you will take you home

We'll give you a key to open all of the gates
We'll show you a sea of starlight to drown all your cares
Mirrorhouses, the sweetest kisses and wines
A Debussy dialogue between wind and the roaring sea

We are the Edema Ruh
We know the songs the sirens sang
See us dream every tale true
The verse we leave with you will take you home

Dance to the whistle, to the play, to the story
To infinite encores
Laugh at the royalty with sad crowns
And repeat the chorus once more

We are the Edema Ruh
We know the songs the sirens sang
See us dream every tale true
The verse we leave with you will take you home

This is in my opinion one of Tuomas album with the most beautiful melodies he has ever done for Nightwish and Floors wonderful singing. They have done this live just twice, i think it was in Berlin and Vienna, and Emppus beautiful guitar solo with beautiful pink lights on the stage, there are only fan videos from it. There are also instrumental cd's of Nightwish songs, you can listen just with the London Symphony orchestra or a separate with no vocals, if you listen to those you really see or hear how good of a composer Tuomas is. I listen to those a lot and specially this record.
