When I lived in Wisconsin, I had full coverage auto insurance for $115 a month. Bare bones coverage would have been $50 a month.

Why not give us all state insurance and take it from our taxes

If the goal was to make it cheaper, then cheap is what you're getting. Good luck prying the coverage out of the carriers if and when you need it. They had no business messing with a fund that was contractually obligated to care for catastrophic victims now suffering. If you don't want to go on paying into the fund, so be it... now there's a choice. But before 2019, those that were injured are entitled to what they paid for... catastrophic coverage. If it's so easy to not honor a legal contract by changing laws, then lookout. This paints a path for others to change any binding contract unconstitutionally.

If you didn't have insurance Oct 31st 2021 you lost if you had insurance October 30 and you bill was due on that date and you were late you were canceled for a day or 2 you loose. That's how they did me.
State farm sucks. 🙊🙉🙈🥒💩
