If you go through the second entrance to the large wreck near lifepod 17 you can find Mod station, battery charger, laser cutter and repulsion cannon fragments (depending on the RNG) and no bonesharks or ampeels to worry about.

I cannot wait to get home tonight. I have 40 hours into this game. Nice mid sized base with moonpool, seamoth, can build the cyclops but havent yet as I am still looking for the Mod frags. Now I can follow your lead and check on this wreck and see if they are there. Will be nice to have a big tank and quick fins to navigate this environment. Thank you so much! I was getting frustrated to no end looking everywhere other sources had stated the modification station fragments would be. Thankfulky, I happened upon your video. I followed your compass direction (I'm on a ps5) and voila! All three fragments scattered between both wrecks (one in the first wreck, two in the second). I can't thank you enough!

Also quick tip in that first room of the first wreckage there is a vent system which if you follow you’ll get to a data chest where (This is for me I don’t if it’ll be the same for you) will be a reinforced diver suit for thermal resistance and reduced damage

Try #1: Almost had a panic attack because I went too far and couldn't see a thing. I also know that there's an area nearby with reaper leviathans and that didn't help. Waited for an eel to get out of the entryway for about 5 minutes, got in, didn't find anything in the first room, got the message that my seamoth was too deep, tried to get it to safety, lost it to a boneshark, and swam away in a panic. 😥😑

This is the first video of yours that I have watched. I am impressed with the detail, the pace and the quality. I looked at this wreckage and there are different fragments for my game. I am beginning to figure out that there is no way to tell the exact location, for everyone, since fragments seem to be spawned differently, for different games. Your video is still cool though haha
