The Biden admin isn’t responsible for high prices on things like groceries, and as VP, Kamala Harris surely doesn’t have a hand in it, but she does plan to put a stop to the real reason for the increase if elected president: corporate price gouging

Why are prices so high when corporations are posting record profits? Almost like big businesses are gouging the American people. Maybe we should impose legislation that stops price gouging?

Go after these corporations that are buying up housing property and price gouging food.

I work at a grocery store, one of the BIG ones. I guarantee you that the price of groceries has increased WAY over the cost of living increase.
COVID made them greedy.

Corporate price gouging yes! Kroger/Albertsons merge. The head of Kroger admitted on record that Kroger kept, / keeps prices artificially inflated. That means PRICE GOUGING.

I've watched a few videos on YouTube comparing US and UK prices for various things.
Prices in the US are sometimes 70% higher for the same thing. Across the board there is a 30% difference favouring the UK.
Personally I'm not surprised, it's a well known fact that American companies put profits above anything.

She's right a lot of the high prices come from gouging proprietors, and corporations.

Funny how people think corporations and their prices have anything to do with the US Presidency 😂

Two fertilizer companies control the fertilizer for all our farmers. 1 is owned by the Koch Brothers... Farmers are being fleeced by two companies, giving farmers no choice but to raise prices. Housing is being gobbled up by REIT investors... there are many ways to fix our economy -- we need a fair economy, and that is why we need government intervention like Teddy Roosevelt did when he was President.

Funny how people want free market capitalism, and then complain when this happens… Price gouging is free market capitalism.

Who sets prices for companies and corporations? Does the President, Vice President or the Boards that drive these businesses? The blame falls to the businesses and corporations along with their boards. Leran how business works. Elon Musk was given a $55 billion dollar pay package and put people in the unemployment line.
