honestly I think it's a great feature for regular fortnite, but not for competitive

The differnce between the two is the "water" is an extremly situational strategy that's hard to count on cause it's in completely random places while with the other plants they were all over so u could easily plan out a place to go

We saw this with the cactus in season 5 as well. Who cares if it’s “broken” for competitive Fortnite, a majority of players aren’t professional so it isn’t a mistake to begin with and IF it becomes a problem in competitive just take it out of competitive and don’t touch regular. Sick of pro players affecting how the regular game plays just because they deem something “too broken” to allow people of lower skill be able to still be competitive and have fun instead of constantly getting shit on by sweats and pros.

All of the water in the game is on the low ground. This seems by design.
Also if you trade damage trying to use the infinite heal you will be permanently on only 75 shield. A significant disadvantage.
Also boons are extremely rarer in squad games so sharing the water healing one seems fair.
All in all seems way more balanced than either the slurp cacti or flowers from previous seasons as you have to condemn your whole team to the low ground water sources.

This is pretty weird because it's just like waterbending... with waterbending though, they disabled its healing properties in tournament mode but kept its primary attack function. But water boon only has 1 function so if they did that it'd just be useless.

The difference is is that it ticks up in water so it takes time and doesn't work in storm. Whereas the older ones were instant health

Honestly it’s good if u want more inventory space but honestly I wouldn’t pick it up cuz 1 time out of 10 most zones don’t get water so either way ur gonna have to carry shields

And don't forget it stacks so the more members of your team that have it the faster it'll heal you.

What would have been cool is instead of you having to be in water for it to work, it worked a little something like this. You go into the water and a bar will appear and once it's full that's how much it will heal you once you take damage, but It will deplete every time it is healing you.

Using the boon for inf heals is gonna mean your on low ground tho. Not that that negates the positive of inf heals but its a thing to note
